I am an artist from Germany.

My use of material is intentional. In many cases, the discovery of an object marks the origin of a thought, which can form into an idea, take a sideroad and turn into something new. I use photography as a means to deal with questions I encounter, both visually and conceptually. Working with material and being part of the whole process are very important to me, which is why I choose to work analogue.

This process is what keeps me going, and in return, I try to keep the process going: I teach and work as Artistic Director at Kalamari Klub, an international collective for the celebration of analogue photography. Together, we curate shows, host workshops and run a community darkroom in Heidelberg. Check out our website for upcoming projects and workshops.

I am currently based in Halle (Saale), Germany. If you’d like to know more, are interested in collaborating or just want to say hi, feel free to
↳ contact me.
