ABOUT
Nicolas Reinhart (b. 1991) is a visual artist based in Halle/Leipzig, Germany.
He studied Art, Craft & Design in Grimslöv, Sweden, as well as Fine Arts at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle and Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig, Germany. He is a co-founder of Kalamari Klub, an international collective for the celebration of analogue photography.
His work has been shown internationally, among others at: Alvesta konsthall (Sweden), Heidelberger Kunstverein (Germany), PORT25 – Space for Contemporary Art, Mannheim (Germany), gr_und, Berlin (Germany), Prospekto Galerija, Vilnius (Lithuania), 254Forest Brussels, Belgium and the Helsinki Darkroom Festival at The Finnish Museum of Photography (Finland).
He is a winner of the international competition “reStart ’22” hosted by the Lithuanian Photographers Association, received an Honorable Mention in the “Vintage Grand Prix” by the Vintage Photo Festival (Bydgoszcz, Poland), was shortlisted for the international BarTur Photo Student Award 2022 and named one of “New Talents 2022” by the Photographic Exploration Project.
